New York State for Veterans, Inc. is a Non-for-Profit organization which provides counseling and employment assistance services to honorably discharged veterans seeking meaningful employment in their communities.

Unfortunately, recently returning veterans, and those veterans long off active duty, are finding tremendous difficulty in finding suitable, meaningful employment. In fact, of the homeless population in New York, nearly 25% are veterans. Through the “Jobs for Veterans” program, New York State for Veterans, Inc. provides an array of services to any honorably discharged veteran either living in, or seeking to relocate to New York State.

New York State for Veterans, Inc. is a tax exempt 501 (c)(3), not-for-profit organization which is accepting tax-deductible donations in support of this program.

Our “Jobs for Veterans” program is designed to address the gap that exists amongst federal and state programs. As one of the largest states in the nation, New York is home to over 1.2 million veterans, many of which have recently completed multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. Currently, 40,000 New Yorkers are currently serving our nation on active duty. This program is about veterans helping veterans with their successful reintegration into their communities.
